Introducing HealthTasks Surveys

2 min read

Alumni and program feedback belong on the SEP, not in a side survey tool. HealthTasks Surveys collect that evidence and feed it into the same living plan as clinical evaluations.

Today, we are introducing HealthTasks Surveys.

Accreditation does not end at graduation. CCNE, ACEN, and CNEA still ask programs to show alumni, employer, and other follow-up evidence. Most of that work happens outside the clinical education platform: a separate survey tool, a spreadsheet, and a last-minute paste into the Systematic Evaluation Plan (SEP).

Surveys keep that evidence in HealthTasks, next to the evaluations the program already runs, and feed it into the SEP as it arrives.

The gap accreditors actually ask about

Clinical evaluations tell you how students performed while they were in the program. They do not tell you what graduates, employers, or former preceptors think after the fact.

That second body of evidence is required, and it is awkward to collect. Alumni no longer have day-to-day access. Employer and climate feedback lives in another vendor. When the self-study year starts, the team reconstructs a narrative from exports that no longer match the rest of the plan.

Deans and accreditation leads need one place to gather that data and one place to show it.

Collect from people who have already left

Surveys are built for program feedback, not for grading students, preceptors, or sites.

Send a survey to alumni and others who are no longer active in HealthTasks. They complete it from a secure email link. They do not need a restored account or a new login to the rest of the platform.

That is the difference between chasing people through a personal email thread and treating post-graduation evidence as part of the program record.

Put the results on the SEP

The value is where the answers go.

Programs can link surveys to the SEP alongside other evaluations. Responses flow in as an evidence source instead of waiting for someone to copy a chart into a binder. Alumni satisfaction, employer feedback, and similar artifacts sit on the same living plan as clinical evaluations and program outcomes.

The SEP stays current between visits. Faculty and accreditation leads still interpret the findings and write the analysis. Surveys supply the source. They do not certify compliance.

One evidence chain, not a side project

When follow-up data lives in a different tool, CQI and self-study become a reconciliation job. When it lives in HealthTasks, the same plan that already holds evaluations can show the rest of the story programs are expected to defend.

Less archaeology at site-visit time. More of the evidence already in the system of record.

Setup details are in Surveys help. If you want to see how surveys sit on your accreditation plan, book a demo.
